Walk All Over is a play written and directed by Denison student Kee Olandesca. It was put on by the Denison Independent Theater Association (DITA) in November 2024. It tells the stories of those living in postcolonial societies and shows the insidious effects that colonialism still has on those living in postcolonial societies today. The show features 3 oppressor characters and 3 oppressed characters, and the end of the show has the oppressed rising up and banding together to take power back from their oppressors. In this way, the show ends on a really beautiful note of hope, showing the power that strong community and collective resistance can have against societal structures that were built to oppress people.
